During the Japanese colonial period, a place for training soldiers to ride horses.
In the park, a mound stands with an inscription: "In the 1950s, people seeking justice were arrested and executed here during martial law. This site is preserved to honor them and remember history."
Now, people enjoy riding their bikes by the river.

The park is called Youth Park because it is meant to be a place full of youth and energy.
Youth Park used to be a military training ground during the Japanese era. Later, it became Taipei South Airport. In 1974, the Taipei City Government turned it into a park. Located in Wanhua District, it’s close to Banqiao City.
The park has a lotus pond, a Western-style garden, and a large area for flying kites. It became a popular place for Banqiao families to relax and enjoy time together.
